Millennium Park…pick 16 of our 52 adventures in Chicago!

We met up with one of the first friends I ever made when we first moved to Milwaukee over 4 years ago. She wanted to squeeze in one more trip to Chicago before all the craziness of school consumes our lives, so we decided to spend a few hours roaming around Millennium Park!
There is so much to experience in this one park! A favorite of the kids is Crown Fountain, our first stop today on another of our hot summer days! Of course, we checked out the ‘Bean’, Pritzker Pavilion and for the first time we walked through part of the Lurie Gardens. I can’t believe I’ve never walked through here before…this might be one of my new favorite spots in the city! We also walked over the BP Pedestrian Bridge, which I love, despite it’s heat absorbing qualities…not so pleasant on an already hot day.
While I love Millennium Park, it’s a bit challenging to get any real unique images here, every architectural wonder within this park has been photographed to death. I intentionally avoided the all too common shots of the bean and crown fountain. Hopefully I managed somewhat unique images:-)
