From the 'L': Orange Line Edition, Part I

Finally a sunny day for some photos! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the rain, but I’m getting a little bored with the dull gray skies of my last few photo outings. I’d rather see some stormy clouds if it’s going to rain.
So, today I rode the orange line to Midway and back. I lucked out with getting this great back car with this grungy side window, the plastic protective thingy was beginning to peel off causing this cool effect. Well, at least I thought it was cool:)
But first, here are some shots out the back window as we headed towards Midway.
And now for those shots from the “cool” window.
And one from the ride back to the city from the front of the train, through 2 windows since the conductor was having no part of allowing me access to the front section of the car…oh I tried!
One last shot out the side window as we headed back to the loop.

  1. The first two are my favorites. I like the shadowy tower building. The ones out ot the grungy window, I liked the flag. Very interesting. I would be nervous riding on that L. LOL

    1. Ha, Nancy, you'd be fine! It takes you right to the airport:) Thank you for taking the time to look at the photos and comment:)

  2. Hi Angie, All the pictures are very interesting. It certainly makes you feel like you are right there in the action.
    See you Wednesday.
    Love,
    Fay
