The anxiety has been settling in from the lack of photography being made lately or the poor photography that has been of the last couple weeks, not even one shot worth posting anywhere.
Today a little inspiration was in order; first a stop by the Catherine Edelman gallery to check out an exhibition of Michael Kenna‘s work. Truly breathtaking landscapes, at the very least be sure to browse his website.  Then onto the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago for the “Think First, Shoot Later” exhibition.
I don’t know about you but sometimes a little escape from my own head and everyday world is just what I need to jump start some creativity.

  1. I know JUST what you mean. I have been feeling anxious about my writing lately too. Maybe its a lack of confidence or a just a creativity lull or whatever, but I've been feeling unsure of myself, what I'm doing and where I'm going. Anyway...I've found that when I get back to basics and write something really simple, it usually kickstarts more ideas.
