IPA 2013 – Architecture Non-Professional Honorable Mention

IPA final-2

This has been quite an exciting year for me!  I cannot express how grateful I am to be receiving recognition for my work this year, it’s truly an honor. This award in particular is quite meaningful as there were so many outstanding entrants; many I admire greatly were also awarded this year.
I recently attended a Long Exposure workshop here in Chicago with outstanding instructors, Julia Anna GospodarouJoel Tjintjelaar, Sharon Tenenbaum, Armand Djicks and Daniel Portal , who routinely receive awards from this organization and this year was no exception. There were also so many amazing students attending the workshop that placed as well. So wonderful to be hanging around such talented people! A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to both the instructors and fellow students!
I have only been pursuing architectural photography on a consistent basis for the last 2 years, most notably the last year. So to receive HM’s for two of the three images I entered alongside photographers that I greatly admire is quite exciting! Below is a bit of information about the IPA and which categories my images received HM’s in. Thank you so much for your support, you have no idea how much I appreciate it!
