The last photographic stop from my couple days in San Diego was the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge. A photographer friend of mine, Jim Watkins who recently moved to California and has spent much time exploring the area, suggested I find my way to this bridge. If only I would have remembered it once we got there…good thing we accidentally came across this bridge anyway! I would have been quite upset with myself had I missed this very cool piece of architecture.
The Harbor Bridge is a suspension bridge connecting the San Diego Convention Center with the Gaslamp Quarter, which is where we stayed…very fun and a perfect area to stay since we didn’t have the kids with us, lots of fun nightlife.
I’m hoping to start working on a bridge series of some of Chicago’s more interesting bridges…I’m holding out for some decent weather to grace us because I can’t seem to handle this eternal winter we’re having. Starting next week I’m getting back to my weekly photo days…I cannot wait!!!! Here are the Harbor Bridge images to get things started with this new series plan…
