Winter in Millennium Park

I’ve been excited about the completion (or near completion) of Maggie Daley park for quite a long time. First, because it looks like the most amazing park for kids and second because I’ve really been wanting the BP Pedestrian Bridge to open back up. Yesterday I finally had some time to get down there for some photos!
While I was planning to photograph Maggie Daley Park, I only ended up shooting from there west toward Millennium Park and the city. Mainly because it was a better view and Maggie Daley Park is still not entirely complete.
I also don’t often shoot cityscapes but the view of the city with the BP Bridge in the foreground is really fantastic. In the next couple days I’ll post a couple shots of some architectural details I got from the park view and nearby areas. But for now, here’s our beautiful city.
