It’s spring break and Chicago’s having some miserable weather this week so the kids and I took advantage of the free admission at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA) today. I may not quite understand some of the exhibitions in the museum, and having two little kids in tow makes it even more difficult to gain any understanding, but it’s always nice to explore something outside my usual frame of reference. Plus, for an architectural photographer like myself, the staircase in the museum is always worth the visit. It was definitely a favorite of my kids too, particularly the koi pond at the base of the stairway.
