The next couple/few posts will feature some images I made over the weekend on the Out of Chicago bus tour up to Milwaukee. Our first stop was the Milwaukee Art Museum designed by Santiago Calatrava. Definitely one of my favorite buildings to photograph! So many great lines and ways to see the details in this building.
My first approach with the building was to spend a little bit of time outside trying to get some images of the strings that are part of the pedestrian bridge connecting the museum to downtown Milwaukee. Creating graphic abstracts of exterior architecture is always a go-to method when I’m dealt with dreary, flat, gray skies like we had on Saturday.
