Last year, I finally got to the Terrence Donnelly Health Sciences Complex on the University of Toronto Mississauga campus. Designed by Kongats Architects, it’s a building I’ve been wanting to photograph for a while.
One of the first things I noticed was some interesting reflections. I went for a very minimalist composition. I’m still not sure between color/black&white and vertical/horizontal though.

A different kind of reflection, using the dirty glass as a blur.

I then started playing with the materials and the colors. The metal and wood offer some nice contrasts!


I love how the different parts of the building interact with each other. The next few images are different ways of stacking the different elements in the image.
