One of the new locations we shot at this years Los Angeles workshop was a sculpture by Alexander Liberman titled Ulysses. It’s a very large, white, metal sculpture with all these great curves. I preferred isolating segments of the sculpture against the sky for a minimalistic look. I also took liberty with the white balance in Lightroom to give it this soft blue hue…no specific reasoning beyond I like the tone and feel it gives to the images. Let me know your thoughts 🙂 Of course the black and white versions are in the whole workshop set of images here.
