I’ve shared a few posts from my favorite locations from day 1 of the Los Angeles workshop Michael Muraz and I led. Thought I’d round out the workshop posts with the remaining locations from the day.
One of our stops was LACMA, a bit of a more difficult location to shoot, but I liked the softness of the light in this area.
Another stop that afternoon was the Los Angeles Public Library. This globe light is beautiful!
We then photographed the interior of the Westin Bonaventure, a very brutalist space, with some great curvy stairways.
To end the day we shot from a bridge over the freeway. The light was really beautiful reflecting on the buildings. The first one being the exterior of the Westin Bonaventure.
We stuck around for blue hour and I focused my attention back toward downtown using the overpass on each side of me as leading lines. Also love the car trails below as a foreground element.
