A new location for me! It’s rare to photograph something for the first time on a workshop since we have a tendency to scout places first to make sure they’re a good fit for the workshop. But sometimes you just know a building will be worth it. One Bloor East is a new luxury condo building in the pricey Yorkville neighborhood of Toronto. The most striking aspect of the building is its curvy facade. From wider to very detailed shots there are a number of ways to see this one!

This next one is probably my favorite from the visit. Standing across the street from the building where I could see two sides of it, the curves and angles of those balconies lined up in such an interesting way.

Something about these shapes feels a little crazy, almost like something you’d see in a Dr. Seuss book. Right? Or is it just me?

I know all the shots here are black & white. You can see the color versions and everything from the workshop here.
