Still more great architecture in London with the King’s Cross Station. They also had an enormous selection of Turkish Delight, yum!
Back to the architecture 😉 John McAslan + Partners (JMP) restored the old facade while building this new modern, tree-like structure in the Western Concourse, which is where I spent all my time photographing. There’s a great mix of old and new and plenty of opportunities to focus on the curvy details in this space. Well, and a lot of symmetry!
The next few shots you see a bit of the older structure with the new.
Above you see the space clear of people but I thought waiting for the right person to walk through could be a good addition to my Structure + Soul series.
If London looks like fun to photograph, consider joining Michael and me for a workshop there next spring. You can get all the details here through Photography Unfolded!
