The final post from The Netherlands and my June trip to Europe, we’ll finish with Amsterdam. SO many photos! I didn’t photograph a lot in Amsterdam but had a couple of favorite locations. First, we’ll start with the Rijksmuseum. Opened in 1885 and best known for Rembrandt’s The Night Watch. Of course, I stopped by to see that and also grabbed a few shots of the beautiful arches and well-preserved library.

Moving onto some modern architecture and the only other location I really photographed in Amsterdam. The residential building IJburg 46C designed by Korth Tielens Architects. It has these really great wavy balconies. Sometimes looking a little like seashells or fans.
