For the third year, we led a workshop in Chicago. This has become one of our favorite workshops and a city that is very popular with attendees. As always, we were impressed by our students and the images they got during the workshop. While the post-workshop critique is for students to get feedback about their images, we always look forward to it, as we always learn from the students, who find new angles and perspectives on buildings we’ve shot many times.
Fee Chin
Joining us from Colorado, Fee shared three beautiful architectural images. We especially like how she captured reflections on two of the images. You can follow her on Instagram.
Tex Schneider
Tex has been to every one of our workshops this year, and it’s always great to have him in our group! He shared a variety of images, from detail to cityscape. We love how he used a long exposure to blur the crowds in his image of the Bean. You can find him on Instagram.
Nora Hartfelder
Nora joined us from Edmonton, Canada for her first workshop with us. She shared beautiful monochrome images, as well as a great image with muted tones and fantastic reflections! Check out her work on her website.
Laurie Iten
Laurie was doing her second Chicago workshop in a row and we loved having her back! She shared two look-up architectural images and a dramatic vertical cityscape that we really like. Follow her on Instagram!
This was a great workshop with a fantastic group. To see more from the Chicago workshop, check out our recap with all the locations we photographed. And if you’d like to learn more about our workshops, head to our workshops page.
