JGMA recently commissioned me to photograph some behind-the-scenes shots of video production of Jacob Jonas The Company at their NEIU designed site.

What a great backdrop for this video, which was produced by Alex Horner and featured tap dancer Jumaane Taylor.

Much of the video was produced in the hallway. A nice way to silhouette Jumaane while also showing the geometric and colorful fins on the exterior of the building.

The other area we shot was this great geometric staircase.

Jacob Jonas The Company intersects dance across mediums to make original, socially relevant works with nontraditional collaborations and series to make dance a more visible and valued art form. The short film will be part of their program Films.Dance. Can’t wait to see the final result!
