Time for a look at some of the student’s work from the October Chicago Workshop!
Libby Sutton
First up, Libby Sutton who joined us from Milwaukee for her first workshop with me 🙂 She had some great abstracts of Burberry (using ICM) and the BP Bridge. Plus, a detailed cityscape of the Loop and ‘L’ from a new stop this year, The Nichols Bridgeway.

Cica Friedman
Another newcomer to my workshops, Cica, a local to Chicago. She had a couple of great detail shots from Millennium Park incorporating the Aon Building in the background. Plus, a really lovely take on Studio Gang’s Lincoln Park Pavilion.

Susan Smith
Also new to the workshops, Susan joined us from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She’s sharing a really fun shot from the Pritzker Pavilion with some color alterations. And a great shot from the Washington/Wabash CTA stop with the modern canopy framing the historic architecture along Wabash.

Laurie Iten
Last but definitely not least, Laurie has joined me on numerous workshops and it’s always so nice having her along! Love her high-key take at the MCA, the square crop at the Rookery is a standout and love the exaggerated wide lookup at Union Station.

A huge thanks to the full group of attendees for joining me! It’s always such a fun time. And, of course, thank you to these 4 ladies for sharing their beautiful work with us.
