The final San Francisco post of this trip, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. No trip would be complete without this. At least when you haven’t visited the city in 15+ years.
The first shots were made from Battery Spencer on my way out of town for Point Reyes, so midday and not the best light but nice to stop by after all these years.
A couple of days later I walked along Marine Drive until I reached Fort Point National Historic Site. This was nice to get some closer-up shots and with the sun hitting the side of the bridge I was shooting. These first two are my favorites from the day.
Then a couple of shots from Fort Point of the underside of the bridge. Some ICM and not.
And because the Fort was open and there was some great shadow play…

This is a starting point for other images I have in mind but I need to get closer. Next time, I walk the bridge and see what I see 😉
