I’m excited to share my recent win in the Loop Design Awards with my series on The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption. An incredible mid-century modern design by Pietro Belluschi in San Francisco.

These images were made on my first trip to San Francisco in many many years and this was my first visit to the church. I loved the way the light was illuminating only half of the roofline causing this beautiful contrast between light and shadow, accentuating the curves.
