I’m so excited to share that I’ve won or received honorable mentions for all 5 entries I made to the Architecture Masterprize competition in their respective photography categories. This is the first year I’ve entered this particular competition so this was a very pleasant surprise. And it was so nice to have a mix of my commercial work alongside my more typical abstract work.
First up, I received Best of the Best in the Bridges category with my series of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Next, winner in the Landscape/Urban Design category with various interpretations of Santiago Calatrava’s sculpture, Constellation, right here in Chicago.

One more commercial project – The St Regis Chicago winning in the Residential Exterior category!

Now, for two honorable mentions with architectural interpretations you’re likely more to recognize from me
The deYoung Museum Sculpture Garden with a shot of James Turrell’s Three Gems.

And Frank Gehry’s Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles) in the Exterior Details category
