Last week I had the fun of photographing the in-progress shots of O’Hare’s T5 garage for Clayco. I don’t do a lot of construction shoots but they’re always a lot of fun when I do have the opportunity. It’s pretty impressive to see this aspect of what goes into building the structures around us.

We had a tight timeframe to shoot and needed the best weather day of the week. Despite forecast predictions, it did not start out well…

I was disappointed to miss the soft early morning light but relieved the clouds broke for a beautifully sunny day by mid-morning.

Then, there was the flying a drone at an airport situation…first time for everything and equally as interesting and fun!
