Time for the Mexico City images from the attendees! Well, half of them:)

As I mentioned in the previous post with my images, this was such a great group. So patient and understanding of so many itinerary changes due to some marches/protests and museum closings. We ended up having to scrap a couple of locations, move 3 from one day to another, and then come up with a full day of new locations that weren’t planned whatsoever. It all worked out well enough.

Anyway, let’s look at some of their fantastic photos!

Lara Swimmer

First up, Lara Swimmer. I met Lara in 2019 on a delegation trip to the UAE. She’s a fantastic commercial architecture photographer based in Seattle, so be sure to checkout her work. In today’s shots, she’s sharing a few multiple exposure takes on the Jumex Museum, Soumaya Museum, and Biblioteca Vasconcelos.

Paola Quevedo

This was Paola’s first workshop with me, and she joined us from Puerto Rico. She’s also a commercial architecture photographer doing fantastic work. Loving the clean, dramatic shots she’s sharing today from the Tamayo Museum, Biblioteca Vasconcelos, and Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes.

Linda Scher

Also, Linda’s first workshop with me. She joined us from Minneapolis and said she’s new to shooting architecture in this way. She did a fantastic job isolating interesting patterns in our hotel, Camino Real Polanco, the Museo Nacional de Antropología, and the Soumaya Museum.

Peter Simon

Peter was new to my workshops, too! A trend in those who are sharing images on the blog today:) He traveled from Toronto and is sharing a dreamy take on one of the staircases at the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, a fun multiple exposure at the Museo Nacional de Antropología, and an Escher-like look at the staircase at the Jumex Museum.

Michael Kowalsky
