Each year, I donate a photowalk to the Freshlens benefit. Today, I met up with two lovely ladies who won the walk during the benefit’s auction. We spent two hours around Millennium Park and Lakeshore East. Here are a few shots I captured.
The Bean
Fun reflections and a 90-degree rotation for this one. There are some great abstracts to be found in the warped reflections of the underside of the Bean

Pritzker Pavilion
Great, fleeting light for this one.

BP Bridge
Always love this section where the panels feel like they’re peeling back.

Aqua
This is a drastic crop from the original and a 90-degree rotation to the right; it just felt like it flowed better this way. Also, opted for a very low-key edit to handle the wear and tear and avoid excessive cleanup. Plus, I just like the moodiness.

St Regis
The glass wall at street level reflecting the stainless steel pillars is probably my favorite area of this building to photograph.

Looping back to Aqua
This area with the Swissotel and 303 East Wacker framing Aqua is often interesting. Today, I really like the light bouncing off 303 and onto the Swissotel. Plus, all the geometry in the way these three buildings interact. Couldn’t decide which I liked better, so you get to partake in my indecision.
